Teras Turkish BBQ Restaurant

My friend invited me to dinner and we chose Tears Turkish BBQ Restaurant. Each of their skewers is very big and solid. The grilled shrimp and grilled oysters are also good.

It was my first time visit to Teras with my cousin and we absolutely loved it! It has a lovely atmosphere inside with very friendly and welcoming staff that can't seem to do enough to please their customers, we had a very nice non alcoholic cocktail followed by starters and a delicious moussaka as our mains, I strongly recommend the fried ice cream for desserts it was amazing I've never had anything like it!! this place for sure is one of the hidden gems of wood street, great quality food for a very reasonable price, I will definitely be coming back shortly.

This is the second time I visited Teras, and I'm always impressed with the quality of the food and the service. The staff are very friendly, attentive and welcoming. The food was 10/10, good quality, good portions and reasonably priced. The homemade chilli sauce is exceptional and the fried ice cream is a must!!. It's now one of my favourite restaurants, will definitely pay them another visit shortly.

Our daughter has just moved into the area so we took her and her partner out for a meal - and luckily chose Teras. The place is quirky, clean with lovely lamp shades. The service was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly without being intrusive. The staff clearly wanted everyone to get the best out of their visit. The food was excellent - everyone enjoyed their choice. When we said that we would have loved Baklava - but not 3 pieces each as we had no space left for that many we were offered a 4 pieces helping (1 piece each) with Cumbrian ice-cream and shown how to make and enjoy a "Baklava ice-cream sandwich" - it was superb. The price was very fair for what we had. As we have family living nearby and they loved it too - we will be back, hopefully frequently.
