This restaurant needs to be booked in advance. It is very popular and the dishes are good. It is worth recommending
I had pasta here one day at noon and it was delicious.
We had two entrees and two mains and all were exceptionally tasty. vellutata di piselli - perfect pea with counterpointsrigatoni alla carbonara - classic and well executeddentice with mussels and fresh escaroleosso bucco with peas and carrotsA close to perfect meal: light but filling.
Chef Francesco is a genius... always seasonal always fresh always inspired... tonight was spectacular gnocchi with a velvety safron asparagus cream sauce... maltagliati with a zesty red snapper and asparagus sauce and later superb polpettine and sausage secondi... contorni: the best cicoria alla Romana and fried then slowly cooked eggplant ... dessert was heavenly fresh strawberries and cream. Not to be missed!
Very friendly welcome, appreciated very much all recommendation on food and wine as well. What really stood out on the menue were local, roman dishes. When travelling we not only want to see new places but also to enjoy those with our taste buds - objective 100% met. There is no question that there will be a next time, hopefully pretty soon. It's worth the trip, even hundreds of miles.
