Introduction Korean Cuisine Cooking Experiences in Seoul

Introduction
Some information may have been translated by Google Translate

Seoul invites you to take part in a fashionable cooking class, explore the essence of Korean cuisine in the bustling city, and embark on a trendy journey on the tip of your tongue.

Authentic course content: The course duration is usually 3-5 hours, and the main dishes are usually classic dishes such as stone pot bibimbap, exquisite Korean kimchi, seafood scallion pancakes, and soybean paste soup. Usually it starts with buying ingredients at the market. Later, you will learn how to mix bibimbap sauces, how to pickle kimchi, and so on, to appreciate the unique flavor of Korean cuisine. Students will make 3-7 authentic Korean dishes in one class, as well as many side dishes. Upon graduation, they may receive a certificate and take the pickled kimchi home.

Small class teaching, excellent teachers: The classes are generally small classes. Small classes ensure that the chefs give meticulous guidance, which is more like a private customized food class. Students can also have in-depth exchanges, collide with creative sparks, and jointly improve their Korean cooking skills. Most of the chefs who teach the course come from well-known restaurants or have a traditional Korean food family background. They have superb cooking skills and are well versed in modern innovative concepts. The teaching adopts a combination of theory and practice, with explanations and demonstrations, and strictly controls every link to help students improve their cooking skills.

Well-equipped: The cooking area is spacious and bright, equipped with professional Korean barbecue stoves, precise temperature-controlled stone pots, etc. The kitchenware and tableware are exquisite and Korean-style. The ingredients are sourced from local markets and farms in Seoul, fresh and high-quality, such as crisp water radish and tender Korean beef, restoring the authentic taste.

In the cooking experience class in Seoul, students can not only learn authentic Korean cooking skills, but also gain an in-depth understanding of the history and culture of Korean cuisine, enjoy the fun of cooking, and leave unforgettable food impressions.

Gyeongbukgong Palace

Gyeongbukgong Palace is one of the palaces can be found in Seoul. This palace is located in 161 Sajik-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul, South Korea. This was the main royal palace during the Joseon Dynasty and was built in 1395 in northern part of Soeul, South Korea. Gyeongbokgung Palace is arguably the most beautiful, and remains the largest of all five palaces. The premises were once destroyed by fire during the Imjin War (1592-1598). However, all of the palace buildings were later restored under the leadership of Heungseondaewongun during the reign of King Gojong (1852-1919). The Changing of the Guard is one of the most anticipated events in the palace. Watch this customary rite that has been performed since the 14th century during the Joseon dynasty. As the guards walk toward the main palace grounds, you can hear the traditional gong, cymbal, and horn sounds. #fallingforfall #tripblazers #urbanexplorer #bucketlistreboot #passionpassport

Entering Seoul forest

#seoul Seoul forest is a quick escape out of the hustle and bustle of the city that is Seoul where the city skyscrapers stand tall to make the city stand out. The Seoul forest looks nothing quite like its city where it is a forest filled with floras and faunas of all kinds where you can come watch the Cherry blossom bloom in Spring and the leaves turns bronzes and falling in autumn. The park is really quiet with a giant pond, workout areas, playground. Whether you decide to run, cycle or walk, its going to be a good day when you are here!

Clareau 클라로

I visited Cheongdam-dong Luxury Street, which I don't usually go to, because there was a new dining restaurant. Should I say it's a little casual to call it dining? Here is Clareau(클라로) in Cheongdam-dong, where was better because I could enjoy single menus what I want at lunch casually, not a course meal. Located on the second floor of a fashion brand Blanc and Eclare, it is actually a restaurant made by a Korean famous celebrity named Jessica from Girls' Generation. This fashion brand on the first floor is also run by her, so I think she's interested in fashion and food in many areas. The meal started with a starter, and you can choose the second menu, the main menu, and the dessert, and it was a pleasant experience that you can choose the menu according to your preference, not the designated course. On that day, I started with a salad made of seasonal veggies with thyme dressing and had a slightly smoked Korean beef Hanwoo tartar as a second dish and black truffle with raw pasta as the main dish, and finally had a coriander pavlova for dessert. Overall, the quality of the food was excellent. It was not a restaurant to promote only the fame of its owner. If you think it's a restaurant run by a celebrity and visit with a misconception, you'll be mistaken. It is also equipped with a variety of wines, so there is a wide range of choices when pairing with food. I am confident that it is a well-balanced restaurant, including not only food but also the atmosphere and staff's friendly hospitality.

🇰🇷 Naturelabs

Amazing place with very beautiful illuminations and it costs 20000 KRW but I used my Discover Seoul Pass for this attraction. I only paid $40 for 48 hours DSP and my first attraction already cost $20. So DSP is definitely a must-buy for tourists. Also, this Naturelabs is located in the same building as HIEX Hongdae, so I did not need to travel far. There are several zones inside Naurelabs, mainly flowers and nature. There are many animations and you can take many photos inside. Towards the end there is a mirror zone and you can see the mirror spinning around and reflecting the lights. Have a seoul-prise in South Korea. #bucketlistreboot #southkorea #seoul #liveyourdreams #takethattrip

Korean Bukchon Hanok Traditional Village

Korean Bukchon Hanok Traditional Village

Located between Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, and the Jongmyo Shrine, Bukchon Hanok Village is a place with a high concentration of traditional Korean houses and is also the most representative traditional residential area in Seoul. There are many historical sites, cultural heritage, and folk materials everywhere. Therefore, it is called the street museum in the city center. The characteristics of the Hanok in Bukchon can be summarized as "evolving old methods" and "decorative tendencies". Although it lacks some of the traditional Hanok's complete features, such as lower roof slopes, round beams, double eaves, and narrow but numerous rooms, the Bukchon Hanok embodies the structural and aesthetic beauty of Hanok. From the advertisements of Hanok at that time, it reflected the requirements of urban housing such as density and anonymity, and as a new type of urban housing, the Hanok in Bukchon continued to develop.

Onion? Onion

Onion? Onion

Went to the highly raved onion cafe in seoul. It took us 15-30 mins plus to get in and the staff were really nice. Food was amazing??!! The coffee is *chef kiss*, honestly so much better than sbux. They had a really nice range of interesting and creative pastries to try. Price wise; it isnt very expensive, comparable to usual cafe prices. To take note its really crowded as the anguk outlet is in the city and near major tourist attractions. The other is in a suburb (so its quieter). Recommend: If you enjoy cafe vibe, a foodie or just a curious cat. Do check them out. Cost: $$
