My boyfriend and I planned to go to Bang Krachao. But unfortunately, we went on the wrong day. The market was not open. So we just rode bicycles around there. It was both hot and happy at the same time. It was so hot that I forgot to take beautiful pictures. But I got this picture instead. There was a transport pier opposite Bang Krachao Island. My boyfriend asked me to take this picture for him. If anyone is interested in going to Bang Krachao, I recommend it. For those who like adventure. #Bang Krachao

Bang Kachao is an island in the middle of Bangkok, right on the Chao Praya River. From Klongtoeynok (Phothong) Pier, you take a 5-min boat ride to the island, which costs 5 baht per way. The island is a totally different feel from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. It allows one to get immersed in a tropical jungle, with the occasional tall building peeking out from the tree tops. The best way to get around the island is to rent bicycles, which can rented for about 100 baht a day. Other than traditional villages and small restaurants serving local delicacies, you will get to see some wildlife if you are observant. I would recommend going on a weekend as the floating market will be open then. There is a wide array of shops selling all sorts of snacks, souvenirs, cosmetics etc. The weather is hot all year round, and I had a couple bottles of freshly squeezed orange juice during my ride. Inside the temple, there is an image of the god Ganesha, the great god of success, in a sitting position called the Maharaja. In addition, there are also statues of the Naga King, Pu Sri Suttho, and Mae Ya Pathuma for you to worship and ask for blessings.
