Full of local flavor! An "adventure of flavor" restaurant I discovered in Bang Kajao

#Let'sGoOverseas A local restaurant that I stopped at while cycling in Bang Kajao, a green oasis in Bangkok. There was no menu, it was all in Thai, and of course they didn't speak English. But the pad thai and gapao rice I had there were so shockingly "local"! The presentation was generous, the flavor was punchy, and although it was a bit spicy, it was addictively delicious. I realized that restaurants like this are the real taste of Thailand that you can't get in tourist areas. ⸻ In the middle of cycling through Bang Kachao, Bangkok’s “green lung,” we stopped at a tiny local eatery—no menu, only Thai spoken, and absolutely no English. We ordered Pad Thai and Gapao rice just by pointing. What we got was insanely flavorful, spicy, and served with that beautiful local flair.
