Must-Read Guide to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

This is the place with the most rules I've ever visited (see the last two photos). Inside the mosque, there are many "appearance police" who will immediately remind you if you violate any rules. 🧕 Dress Code: In short, you need to follow the "Three No's": no tight, no transparent, no revealing. You cannot wear tight pants, see-through clothing, or expose your legs or arms. For women, you must also cover your hair. 👍 Behavior Guidelines: ① Do not bring flags or any items with symbolic significance. ② Avoid intimate gestures (such as hugging). ③ Do not wear masks. ④ Do not bring dolls. ⑤ Do not lie on the ground. ⑥ Smoking is prohibited. ⑦ Eating and drinking are not allowed. ⑧ Avoid making gestures, such as peace signs. 🕌 Other Practical Information: 1️⃣ The attraction is free, but you need to make a reservation on the official website and scan a code to enter. 2️⃣ The entrance to the mosque is opposite the mosque itself; you need to cross an underground passage to get in. 3️⃣ The underground shopping street has many souvenir shops, restaurants, and clothing stores. You can buy headscarves and robes here, or prepare them in advance before your trip. Additionally, there’s a local handmade fridge magnet shop that’s quite unique—three for 50 AED.
