Expanding to Tokyo! Edomae sushi and tempura restaurant

This restaurant opened in November 2023. Right in front of Akasaka-Mitsuke Station! It's in the basement of the Hoshino Coffee building. This is the Tokyo branch of Ashiya Iwai, a tempura and wine restaurant that has been featured in the Michelin Guide for two consecutive years. In Tokyo, you can also enjoy Edomae sushi. After the appetizers, we had a few rolls of nigiri, then a small bowl, and then we moved on to tempura. The tempura comes with tempura sauce, but there is seaweed salt, truffle salt, and yuzu salt on the table, so you can choose as you like. We had shochu and sake, but since we were there, we also had white wine. There was only one type of wine by the glass, but it went well with the food and was delicious.
