We went to Chawan-ya, which has a relaxing Showa-era atmosphere 🍺 When you think of Akita cuisine, the first thing that comes to mind is probably "kiritanpo". I've always wanted to try the real thing when I come to Akita. Looking at the menu, I saw that they had the original "damakko nabe" of kiritanpo, so I was curious and tried it. I wonder if it's a shorter version of kiritanpo??
