It starts in the gorgeous Ordesa Valley and takes you through shady forests, alongside turquoise rivers, and past a bunch of mini waterfalls. The path is super scenic and not too hard, so you can just take your time and enjoy the ride. The grand finale is the Cola de Caballo waterfall, and yep, it’s worth all the hype. It literally looks like a horse’s tail pouring down from the cliffs. Super tall, super misty, and the perfect spot to sit, snack, and soak up the mountain vibes. The trail is well marked and pretty popular, but it never felt crowded. Just a bunch of people out enjoying nature. I’d say bring good shoes, water, and snacks because it’s a decent walk. Ruta a la Cola de Caballo is the kind of hike that makes you fall in love with the Pyrenees.
