Texas State Capitol – Austin

#summervacay Touring the Texas State Capitol in Austin was both educational and a cool way to escape the hot summer sun. The building is grand, with pink granite walls, high ceilings, and marble floors that felt cool to the touch. The free tour gave a great overview of Texas politics and history, and I learned a lot while enjoying the impressive architecture. The surrounding Capitol grounds are also beautiful for a walk or picnic under massive oak trees. #summervacay
