Wat Arun, also known as the Temple of Dawn, is one of the most iconic landmarks in Bangkok. Often referred to as the "Thai Eiffel Tower," Wat Arun is situated on the majestic Chao Phraya River. Its central spire, standing at an impressive height of 82 meters, is a striking feature of Bangkok's skyline. Located by the Chao Phraya River, Wat Arun is most conveniently reached by boat. You can take a river ferry from several piers in Bangkok's city center to N8 Pier, where Wat Arun is located. The transportation is very accessible. When visiting Wat Arun, be sure to adhere to the temple's dress code. Shorts, sleeveless tops, backless outfits, and ripped jeans are not allowed. Many visitors choose to wear traditional Thai attire here, and you can either hire a photographer or take photos yourself.
