3 Great Temples to Visit in Bangkok!!

1. Wat Arun Wat Arun is a historical monument and dates back 300 years! It’s only 200baht to enter and besides the monument itself there are surrounding temples that you can walk through and many souvenirs shops as well! Near by there are shops that sell traditional Thai costumes that you can rent or buy and take pictures with at the temple! 2. Golden Monument Golden Monument is a temple high in the sky. With 344 steps to walk up you will view the beautiful city of Bangkok and even be able to see many other monuments, temples and popular places. At the very top you will find the pagoda. For foreigners it is 100 baht to enter. Surrounding the monument are many shops with food, clothes and souvenirs. It closes at 7pm making the perfect place to be during sunset. 3. Wat Ratchabophit Sathitmahasimaram Ratchaworawihan Wat Ratcha is a small but also rather beautiful temple. It is free to enter and is a much more quieter temple which makes it great if you want to avoid crowds. There are many more temples in Bangkok but I definitely recommend these 3 especially if you’re on a budget.
