Have you ever imagined that if there was another us in a parallel world, how different would our lives be? And on days when we feel insecure, what would that person do? The exhibition (another) SIDE BY (another) SIDE by MR.HALFMAN invites us to step into a parallel universe where all “us” live side by side. Even though they choose different paths, they still send some energy to each other in every moment, whether it’s a happy day or a day when we feel lost. MR.HALFMAN, a storyteller from the parallel world (The Storyteller from Parallel-verse), conveys emotions, memories, and open-ended questions through minimalist works. With simple lines, accessible geometric shapes, and minimalist black and white tones, it reflects stillness, sharpness, and empty space that invites us to stop and think. It also allows viewers to imagine and fill in their own feelings in each scene. Sometimes…the answer to life may not lie in just one world. And sometimes, silence in a black and white image may be the clearest sound.
