Banteay Srei Temple, a unique temple of amazing delicate carving temple

Bateay Srei Temple is a unique temple because of its amazingly delicate, detailed and intricate carvings that have stood the test of time for literally a thousand years. It’s hard not to be impressed. It’s a somewhat more busy and popular site so the ‘erase’ features of the iPhone 15 & 16 pro max come in very handy. Also featured amongst the wonders are the ornate statue monkey-tiger-like protectors that I’m guessing were designed to ward off evil spirits. One will also marvel at the in-tact writings and sandscipts on the walls that reveal the stories of times long since past. Definitely worth a visit - make sure you wear a hat and sunscreen (I also used sunglasses and even a headband) as it’s hot!
