You can choose to pick up your luggage at the East Gate or North Gate (the fastest time is 2 hours, and the last time to pick up is 17:00). The first time I came to the Forbidden City in Beijing, I was really shocked by this largest palace building in the world. Although the sun was very strong and there were many tourists, it did not affect my mood for sightseeing at all. At the end of the walk, I passed Kunning East Courtyard and saw the afternoon tea at Wanchun Jinfu Palace Museum. We were very lucky to be able to order and be seated within 15 minutes. Finally, when I walked out of the Forbidden City, before picking up my luggage, I went for a walk to Jingshan Park opposite the North Gate (after walking out of the North Gate, there is an underpass on the left that leads to Jingshan Park).
