The owners—a German, a Frenchman, and a Beijing local—spent two years building it, giving it a distinct European courtyard vibe. The living room features exposed wooden beams, a mix of wood and concrete, and a cozy fireplace for winter. The floors are terrazzo! The whole house has underfloor heating and air conditioning! The open kitchen perfectly complements the laid-back style of this homestay.
