Gardos Kula is a Sweet Little Escape

#summervacay Gardos Kula (aka the Gardos Tower) is this cute little gem tucked into the Zemun side of Belgrade, and honestly, it feels like a mini time warp. The area around it is full of cobbled streets, old houses, and that kind of peaceful charm you don’t usually get in the city center. Wandering up to the tower is a slow, scenic kind of adventure like you're casually discovering a hidden part of the city. Once you reach the top, the views over the Danube are chef’s kiss. The tower itself has a cool, kinda mysterious vibe, and sometimes there are art exhibits or little events inside. The area’s super walkable, with cozy cafés and quiet corners perfect for just sitting and people-watching. It’s not crowded, not loud, just a relaxing spot that feels like a break from city chaos. If you're in Belgrade and want a chill afternoon with some history and views, Gardos Kula is definitely worth the wander.
