My very own experiences on the train and my thoughts! I got to see them refueling! Puffing Billy is a historic steam train in Victoria, Australia, running through the scenic Dandenong Ranges. Built in the early 1900s, this narrow-gauge railway features open-sided carriages, allowing passengers to dangle their legs while enjoying lush forests and rolling hills. The route from Belgrave to Gembrook includes landmarks like the Monbulk Creek trestle bridge, making it a popular tourist attraction that celebrates Australia’s railway heritage. 🌴 Puffing Billy is a fun ride for kids and adults 🚗 Take train until Belgrave Station to get onto the Puffing Billy Train. Ride until Lake Station. 📷 At the end of the station you may take photo with the front of the train, At times they refuel at the Lakeside station. it’s nice to see the refuel process! 🎫 Pre Book the tickets upfront to avoid disappointment. During peak times tickets sold out pretty fast. Buying tickets 1 or 2 months in advance is ideal!
