Castle Hill Funicular - Budapest, Hungary

The Castle Hill Funicular, also known as Budavári Sikló, is a historic cable railway located in Budapest, Hungary. It provides a charming and fuss-free way to reach the top of Castle Hill. The funicular has been part of Budapest’s transportation system since it first opened in 1870. It was initially steam-powered, but was later converted to electric operation. To experience the funicular, you simply have to cross the Chain Bridge to the Buda side of the city. The ride up to Castle Hill was really an enjoyable moment for me, and you can also enjoy the panoramic views of Budapest as you go higher. It’s open daily from 7:30am to 10pm, and cost 2,000 HUF for a round-trip. I highly recommend you to try it out! #wecreate #budapest #hungary #europe #darwintravel
