Budapest: A Relaxed 3-Day Getaway! 🇭🇺✨

#summervacay My recent 3-day, 2-night trip from Barcelona to Budapest was wonderfully relaxed and easy on the wallet! We opted for the 72-hour public transport pass, which was perfect. From the airport, we took the 200E bus (note that the 100E express bus requires a separate fare). For accommodation, we booked an apartment near the Parliament Building. It had a double bed plus a sofa bed, and the two of us were super comfortable. At just €175 for two nights, it was an excellent deal and highly recommended! The location was fantastic, with the M2 metro line and "yellow bikes" (rental bikes) nearby, making it very convenient to get around. The view from downstairs was great. The M2 metro took us just one stop across the river to the Parliament Building, putting us right in the heart of things. Overall, Budapest is a city with a relatively low cost of living. However, do keep in mind that most restaurants, cafes, and even for just drinks, add a 10%-15% service charge.
