It's an excellent opportunity to engage with locals and sample authentic Malaysian cuisine. No trip to Butterworth would be complete without indulging in local cuisine. I discovered several hawker stalls near the ferry terminal, where I savored delicious street food. The flavors were authentic, and it was a great way to experience the local culinary scene. This trip opened my eyes to the charm of this area, showcasing that there’s much more to Penang than just Georgetown.
