Jesus may ball

A World of Festivals' was the extravagant theme for this year's Jesus May Ball. Such a bold claim for the standard of events was practically inviting its guests to be disappointed. However, this was one ball that managed to live up to the hype it generated beforehand. A night of truly excellent entertainment was laid on for all attending.The biggest success of the ball had to be its use of space and its ability to provide so much to see, do, eat, drink and laugh at that the possibility of getting bored was unthinkable. Splitting the grounds into different sections, each corresponding to a different festival, meant there was something for everyone. The Mayday area, on the other hand, provide fun fair rides for anybody brave enough to scale its heights in a ball dress. There were many other things I liked and so did others. The casino was great. Jesus’s ability to cater to the tastes of many different people simultaneously also minimised queues - so that once inside the ball an intimate feel was maintained despite the size of the venue.
