The hotel is located on the bank of the Mae Ping River and has beautiful scenery. When we checked in, the front desk greeted us warmly and there was no problem communicating in Chinese. The room is large, exquisitely decorated, and has musical instrument performances, which is very Thai in style. The reception experience at the check-in desk was impeccable, the waiter was friendly, and the check-in procedure was fast and efficient. The room layout is warm and comfortable, and there is free laundry service every day, which is very considerate. Our room had a river view and a balcony with a seating area. The room is spacious, the bed is super big, and the sleep quality is excellent. The breakfast options are varied, and the semi-buffet style changes slightly every day, so you won't get tired of it. The hotel facilities are also complete, including swimming pools, SPA, and yoga classes. There are many interesting places around, and I recommend a few must-see attractions and restaurants. The cooking classes at Thai Akha Cooking School were super fun, and the Jira Spa was a great place to relax. Here are some good places to eat: Baan Mae Café & Restaurant serves authentic Thai cuisine, and The Service At 1921 House offers first-class food and service. For those who like coffee, you can go to Italics Restaurant, which has a great atmosphere. In short, Anantara Chiang Mai Resort is full of surprises in terms of location, service, rooms and surroundings, and is definitely an ideal choice for vacation.
