#FlyTravelwithtrip 🛕Wat Phra That Chom Sak, originally named Wat Phra That Doi Ban Yang, was built in the Yonok Chai Buri Sri Chiang Saen era. 🛕Until the reign of King Pangkrat, the 24th king of the Yonok dynasty, Phra Phutthakhosachan, a monk from Kosala, Suthammawadi city, brought 16 relics from Sri Lanka to present to him. 🛕King Pangkrat divided the relics into 3 parts: the first part was enshrined at Phra That Chom Thong, the second part was enshrined at Phra That Chom Kitti, and the third part was enshrined at Phra That Doi Ban Yang. 🛕Later, it became an abandoned temple until after World War II in 1947, when Phra Khru Ba Kham La Sangvaro presided over the restoration of the relics, built a new relic to cover the original relics, and built a teakwood chapel. The base of the pagoda is located to the north of the pagoda. 🙏And around the pagoda, there are various Buddha statues such as the Buddha in meditation posture, the Mara-Vijaya posture, and a staircase leading up to the pagoda.
