Wat Khua Krae, Chiang Rai Province The highlight is the body of the Great Temple of Phraya Mangrai the Great, the door arch of the temple is covered with stainless steel that is beautifully decorated with the graceful art of Lanna. Inside the temple is a large white Buddha statue, “Phra Si Sappanyu Samma Sambuddha”. Behind the temple is a white pagoda, the top is gold all the way to the tip of the pagoda. Around the pagoda are Buddha statues in each door, 5 on each side, totaling 4 sides, including white elephant statues at the 4 corners of the pagoda.
