Fukuoka Tachiarai Peace Memorial Museum 🕊️

This was the relay base for the kamikaze squadrons, where many of them saw off their attacks. Two large fighter planes are on display inside the museum. The museum also displays the lives of people at the time and letters left behind, and you can even see letters left by members of the squadrons to their families after their attacks. I was reminded that our modern lives are not something to be taken for granted, and that peace is important.
