ChongQing...a city to visit

If you're planning on visiting any city in China and only have time for a single night, ChongQing is the city to be. The transportation is quick and accessible, walking is entertaining, and everything you must see is just a stone throw away from each other. Additionally, hotels are cheap and in convenient locations, thus adding to its wonderful experience. Most sites are also free and do not need reservations, allowing you to make a quick and spontaneous trip. A downside however is the touristy nature of the city...understandably. Vendors are almost quite literally everywhere trying to sell their items and could get a little pushy. Usually, a firm no works and they tend to leave you alone. Please stay safe out there and watch out for up-pricing and scams. When eating in ChongQing, I would recommended going to smaller stores with less people. Stick to areas locals frequent. They tend to be cheap and very good. Local stores also do get very excited when they see curious tourists.
