Temples, History, and Good Vibes

#summervacay Spent a lazy afternoon exploring Buyeo-eup, and wow, it’s like stepping into a history book, but in the most chill way. First stop was Jeongnimsa Temple Site, and even though it’s mostly ruins now, the vibes are peaceful and calming. The old stone pagoda there? Super photogenic, especially with the mountains in the background. You can almost hear the whispers of Baekje-era monks, lol. Then I wandered over to Gungnamji Pond, and it was straight-up dreamy. There's this little pavilion in the middle of the pond, lotus flowers everywhere, and it just feels like a romantic scene from an old drama. Everything here screams heritage, but in a way that doesn't feel stuffy or boring. Buyeo-eup really surprised me, it’s small but packed with old soul energy. Perfect for a half-day slow walk, especially if you're into Korean history or just want a break from city chaos. Peaceful, nostalgic, and kinda magical.
