Cherry Blossom European Village

Located on the north side of Dacun Train Station in Changhua, in front of Zhen'an Temple, lies a hidden gem for photo enthusiasts—the "Cherry Blossom European Village." Within the community, visitors can admire various European-style architecture, bridges, and picturesque scenes featuring trains, which have attracted numerous photographers eager to capture its charm. However, local residents remain unimpressed, pointing out the nearby foul-smelling ditch and questioning its appeal. In Guoguo Community, Dacun Township, Changhua County, this photo-worthy spot features residential gates designed like the Arc de Triomphe, along with artistic installations such as an Italian bell tower and a Dutch windmill. Visitors can also marvel at European-style painted houses and trains passing over water, creating a scene reminiscent of a European manor. These attractions have drawn crowds of photographers equipped with high-end cameras to secure the best shots. Despite the beauty of the community, local residents express dissatisfaction, noting the mismatch between the scenic views and the smelly ditch under the train bridge. They hope the government will clean up the area soon. Reportedly, the "Cherry Blossom European Village" was built over 20 years ago by Sakura Construction.
