Exmouth and Coral Bay. The best Australian secret spot!

Exmouth and Coral Bay 😍 What a journey! This is by far the most unexpected paradise I visited so far. Unexpected because I was not aware of the existence of it (silly me) and unexpected because it is a true wonder just around the corner, in Western Australia. To get to Exmouth, you have 2 choices, you either take an expensive flight from Perth that takes you there in around 2h OR you can do what I did. Rent a campervan in Perth, drive 4h to Geraldton, then you drive another 5h to Carnarvon. After that you are ONLY another 4h to Exmouth (yes, it's far, very far!). Once you finally reach Exmouth, you are in paradise. Cristal clear water. Wonderful coral reef. Turtles, whales, sharks, manta-rays, dolphins and another million species surrounding you. You can go scuba diving, snorkelling, swimming, fishing or simply just relax on one of the beautiful beaches, the choice is yours and the result is always the same. Extraordinary experience! Personally, I consider Exmouth just a place to stay and visit the Ningaloo coast. There is not much in town. However as soon as you drive to the other side of the peninsula everything is so wonderful that it seems like you are in a movie. I really loved Coral Bay. There are no words to describe the beauty of it. The water is pristine, there is a shark nursery area where a lot of little sharks visit every day, and you can do scuba dive and swim with manta rays or whale sharks if you are lucky. It is a remote area, and it is not recommended to go in Nov-March but it is definitely a place worth a visit. A true wonder.
