Quiet moments of awe in Florence, a city where art becomes everyday life.

Florence was a small yet powerful city. It wasn't noisy, yet it was unforgettable, leaving a lasting impression even if you passed through quickly. The city itself felt like a masterpiece of art, rather than just a collection of tourist attractions. Standing in front of the Duomo Cathedral, what struck me more than its overwhelming scale was its intricate detail. The marble patterns and sculptures, viewed up close, conveyed a profound sense of time, and the view of the red rooftops from the dome was a highlight of the journey. At the Uffizi Gallery, time seemed to stand still. Walking quietly through the worlds of Botticelli and Leonardo was an experience that transcended mere appreciation. Even the view of the Arno River and the Ponte Vecchio outside the windows made the gallery feel like part of the scenery. In the evening, I climbed Michelangelo Hill to gaze at the city. As the sunlight gently descended over the rooftops and the Arno River shimmered in gold, simply watching the scene filled my heart completely. Florence was a city where you didn't need to do anything. Just walking, observing, and being still was enough to complete the journey. If I were to name a city I'd want to return to, I would say Florence without hesitation.
