Address: 1150 Brand Ln, Stafford, TX 77477, United States Introduction: The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir is a traditional Hindu temple that began construction in 2003 and took 16 months to complete. It is said that all the marble used in the temple was selected in Italy, carved in India, and then transported to the U.S., adding to the awe-inspiring craftsmanship of this magnificent structure. Volunteer services are available at the entrance to answer any questions during your visit, with excellent service attitude. Daily religious ceremonies are held in the temple, and the main hall and shrines can only be visited after the ceremonies conclude. 1️⃣ Opening hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Temple interior open from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM) 2️⃣ Dress code: Shoes must be removed before entering the temple. Separate shoe storage areas for men and women are provided on either side of the temple. Socks may be kept on. After storing your shoes, you may proceed slowly into the temple. Photography is not allowed inside the temple. For external photos, you must go to the ground floor below the steps. Staff will approach to stop any unauthorized photography. Avoid wearing shorts, short skirts, tank tops, or off-shoulder tops, as you may be asked to wear a sarong. Out of religious respect, please do not deliberately violate these rules. 3️⃣ Other information: In addition to the main temple, there are restrooms, a dining area, and shops in the surrounding area, allowing visitors to leisurely experience the religious culture. Visit experience: The temple isn't very large, and a visit typically takes about an hour.
