No ads, accidentally stayed at a budget Atour in Fuzhou! So thrilled This is genuinely ad-free—if it weren’t, I’d treat you to a free stay! I spontaneously booked a hotel that day, torn between Atour and this Lucky Hotel (not an Atour member). In the end, I chose Lucky Hotel because, after deducting XC points, it cost around 310 yuan, included two breakfasts, and the room was newly renovated in 2024 with great hardware and spacious layout. The nearby Atour would’ve cost nearly 400 yuan with breakfast, and its decor was from 2019. When I arrived, I realized the two hotels were right next to each other. At check-in, I noticed the lobby’s design was strikingly similar to Atour’s. They even had a late-night congee bar, and the signage was almost identical—isn’t this just Atour in disguise...? Then I entered the room and was completely stunned. All the amenities and furnishings were identical to Atour’s. This was such a steal!!!!! So awesome!!! After some digging online, I found out it’s likely owned by the same boss as the neighboring Atour—a self-created brand with all amenities matching Atour’s standards. The front desk staff were also super friendly! The breakfast had fewer options compared to Atour, but it was still great! The *laohua* (Fuzhou-style noodles) was delicious, and I went back for seconds of the fish balls and flat meat dumplings! Such a fantastic deal, even on a regular weekend. It’s right outside Fuzhou Station, with a subway entrance nearby. Just 3-4 stops (about 10+ minutes) to Sanfang Qixiang and Dongjiekou. Super convenient—highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Fuzhou!
