Lake Vibes & Trail Chillin

#summervacay Checked out Hoengseong Lake Trail Track #5 and it was such a mellow, feel-good walk. Not really a “hike” hike, more like a peaceful stroll with some seriously pretty lake views. The path is super manageable, no crazy climbs, just smooth walking with nature doing its thing all around you. There were trees everywhere, birds doing their little songs, and the lake peeking through the leaves every so often. It’s one of those places where you don’t need music, the vibe just kinda carries you. A few benches along the way too, perfect for water breaks and zoning out. I saw a couple of locals just taking their sweet time, and honestly, I matched the energy. Took a bunch of random photos, snacked by the water, and just enjoyed the calm. If you’re in Hoengseong and want a super chill nature fix without breaking a sweat, Trail #5 is where it’s at. Low effort, high reward.
