Surabaya is said to be the second largest city in Indonesia❗️ I was picked up around the station and checked into an affordable capsule hotel‼️ The building was four stories tall, with a shared space and private rooms on each floor! There were shower rooms on each floor, and it was a pretty cozy space! In addition to Indonesians, there were also Europeans staying there! Unfortunately, I didn't encounter any packers, but there were local hikers staying there! Apparently, there is a mountain with a view of the volcanic crater's mouth just a little way away? 🌋
