Grand Circle, a road trip to feel the overwhelming nature of the western United States

#July Travel Support Fund The Grand Circle was not just a simple trip, but a journey where I felt the wonders of Mother Nature with my whole body. Every day, a completely different landscape unfolded, and the grand scale of the desert and canyon was difficult to express in words. The first destination was the Grand Canyon South Rim. The red canyon with tens of millions of years of history was so huge that I couldn't see the end, and the sunset canyon I saw from Mather Point was an unforgettable experience. After that, I moved to Page and visited Antelope Canyon. The shadows and colors created by the rays of light coming through the narrow canyon gaps were like a work of art created by nature. At nearby Horseshoe Bend, the view of the Colorado River gently winding through was truly spectacular. The next was Monument Valley. The huge rocks rising above the red desert recreated scenes from Western movies, and Monument Valley, dyed red at sunset, was like a painting. Finally, I visited Bryce Canyon and Zion Canyon. The unique rock pillars of Bryce were mysterious and fantastic, and the hike through the canyon in Zion allowed me to feel the tranquility of nature. The Grand Circle was a journey that made me think, “How small are humans in front of nature?” throughout the trip.
