A beautiful coast where you can meet a variety of landscapes

#springwander The beautiful coast is located in the Sanriku Fussu National Park and is also designated as a national scenic spot. You can enjoy the varied natural beauty, such as colourful flowers of the four seasons, fresh natural lawns, coastlines with strange rocks, 100-year-old pine forests and adorable sea cats. The long coastline, which extends for about 12 kilometres facing the Pacific Ocean, can be divided into four areas. The northernmost area is the "Bushima" area. As the name suggests, it used to be an island, but now it is a continuation of the land. It is known as a breeding ground for sea cats, and many sea cats usually fly in from March to August, and you can see them working hard to raise their children. At the top of Bushima, there is the "Bushima Shrine" that enshrines Benzaiten, who is worshipped as the god of business and fishing.
