Hanmer Springs Animal Park is a zoo where you can interact with a variety of animals. There are many local wild animals such as kangaroos, alpacas, and emus, so you can get very close to the animals! Some of the animals are kept free-roaming in a natural environment (or rather, almost entirely in the forest), but the staff and animals are all friendly. Both children and adults can enjoy it. You can also experience feeding the animals. There is also a cafe in the main house, so you can take a break while watching the animals.
