Peru's milky blue plateau lake - Lake Paron

Lake Parón, at an altitude of 4,200 meters, is a lake in Peru, located in the Ancash Region in the north of the country. This was my first time climbing a mountain in South America. The roads were all stone, and you needed to use both hands for some sections. There were several sections of the road with cliffs next to them, so if you were not careful, you could fall into the lake. The color of the water in this lake is light milky blue, very beautiful and very natural. I live in Huaraz and joined a one-day local tour. The activity at Lake Parron lasts for two to three hours, and the climbing can be completed in about an hour. You can rent a canoe or a boat to row on the lake for the rest of the time.
