Nagasaki food: grass-covered

Kusabuki is located in Moriyama-cho, Isahaya City. The restaurant has a traditional thatched roof. The interior is also traditional, with thick wooden pillars. There are table seats and tatami rooms. The restaurant mainly serves udon and soba, but my personal recommendation is the set beef bowl or eel bowl. You can choose a combination of soba beef or udon eel. This is the best. I ordered the beef bowl set with stewed udon with plenty of vegetables, called Kusabuki udon, and udon beef. The beef bowl has a sweet flavor unique to Kyushu. The stewed udon has a calming taste, with the flavor permeating both the vegetables and the udon. The balance is simply perfect, and you are guaranteed to be satisfied after eating. Public transportation is not very convenient, so you will have to access the restaurant by car, but the food and the atmosphere make it worth visiting.
