[Izumo] A day trip on a retro train

A day trip to Izumo Taisha in search of fate♡ Izumo Taisha, famous as the god of matchmaking, was indeed a special place. After arriving at Izumo-shi Station, transfer to the Ichibata Railway and head to Izumo Taisha-mae Station. It's a short 25-minute ride in a cute retro carriage. The station building is also retro and photogenic♡ When I arrived at the station, the air was already clear and I felt refreshed. From there, I took a bus to Izumo Taisha. As I walked through the large torii gate and along the approach to the shrine, I felt like the atmosphere had changed. When I reached the main shrine, I was greeted by the famous giant shimenawa rope. It was very impressive! The way to worship is "two bows, four claps, one bow" For the local gourmet food, I enjoyed the specialty "Izumo Zenzai." Large fluffy rice cakes with slightly sweet red beans.
