Jingdezhen's Taoyuan Valley Resort is located at the end of Sanbao Road, reachable by electric scooter. The further you go, the more natural and ecological the scenery becomes, with an increasing number of ancient buildings and historical sites—many of which are provincial or even national-level protected units—perfect for a scenic tour along the way! Ancient Architectural and Historical Site Cluster: Located along the road to the Shuangkeng Ruins in Changjiang District, Jingdezhen, this area features many old-style farmhouses and ceramic workshops. The courtyard walls were built by villagers 20 years ago using the "dry-stacked" technique, and the interiors are furnished with production tools and daily utensils used by villagers over two decades ago. Though the village appears to be a collection of ordinary farmhouses, it exudes a casual, simple, and rustic charm, preserving authentic living scenes. Traditional ceramic-making tools and folk artisans showcase the ancient porcelain culture and way of life. Other Traditional Dwellings: Some of the traditional residential buildings here also hold historical significance. Most are constructed with brick, stone, and wood, featuring a simple and archaic architectural style. Some structures retain traditional wooden, brick, and stone carvings, reflecting local architectural characteristics and folk culture. Mining Pit Ruins: The Shuangkeng Porcelain Stone Mine Ruins are among the most important mining sites in the entire resort. With a long history of ceramic production, Jingdezhen relied heavily on porcelain stone as a key raw material. The Shuangkeng mines were exploited as early as ancient times, and these ruins bear witness to the development of Jingdezhen's porcelain industry, holding significant historical and cultural value.
