Tianxiangji Ancient Castle Tour: Tsuwano Castle (Sanbonmatsu Castle)

Stayed in Tsuwano the night before, checked out at 8:45 the next day, and it took about 10 minutes to get to the cable car station (starting at 9 o'clock, round trip 700 yen). It was fun to ride it, and the scenery was very nice. After going up, there were road signs indicating how to get to Honmaru. What was special was that the original mountain road was under construction (May 2025), so a corridor was built directly next to it. The scenery on the mountain was quite good. It took about 50 minutes to walk around and then return to the cable car. If you are not in a hurry, you should be able to take the mountain cable car and then walk down the mountain. #津和野 #津和野城
