Konigssee

Königssee is located in southeastern Germany, close to the German-Austrian border. It is a beautiful lake surrounded by the Alps. The birth of this lake can be traced back to the end of the Ice Age, when the glaciers of the Alps retreated, forming this deep and clear lake. To this day, Königssee is considered one of the clearest, deepest and most famous lakes in Germany, and is also a popular hiking route and tourist attraction. When you come to Königssee, buy a ticket at the ticket office next to the pier. It takes about an hour to reach the upper lake area from the pier of Königssee. During the process, you will pass by St. Bartholomä Church, and you will see the famous red onion church located by the lake, which blends with the surrounding mountains and lake water. The scenery is beautiful. The best position is the right side of the boat close to the boarding place.
