🚢 Fish Station Fabric Freshly Made Hall Navigation Light – Fresh Seafood Right by the Port

We made a spontaneous stop at 魚の駅生地 できたて館 航海灯 in Kurobe while driving through Toyama, and it turned out to be a great decision. It’s located just across from the fishing port, and the moment we saw the boats and smelled the ocean breeze, we knew we had to try the seafood here. The place has a casual, welcoming vibe. We headed into the dining area for lunch, and everything just felt so fresh. I went for a seafood bowl, and it was loaded with generous slices of sashimi—thick cuts of tuna, yellowtail, sweet shrimp, and ikura. Every bite tasted like it came straight off the boat. The rest of the family ordered different sets, and we shared everything. Even the simple rice and miso soup were comforting and delicious. What made it even better was the view—we got a table near the window overlooking the port. It felt peaceful and local, not touristy at all. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole place had that easygoing charm that makes you want to linger a little longer. If you’re ever passing through Kurobe or near the Ikuji area, this spot is absolutely worth the stop.
