#summervacay Azeula Fortress is one of those places that doesn’t try too hard but still totally wins you over. It’s tucked up on a little rocky hill, and getting there already feels like a mini adventure. The trail leading up isn’t too tough, but it’s definitely got that “am I going the right way?” vibe, which honestly just makes it more fun. Once you finally make it to the top, the views are ridiculous, full on panorama of Kvemo Kartli with green hills and scattered villages stretching out everywhere. The ruins themselves aren’t massive, but they’ve got that cool, ancient charm, weathered stones, crumbling walls, and just enough mystery to keep you curious. It’s quiet too, which is the best part. You can just sit, catch your breath, and feel like you stumbled into a secret corner of Georgia. If you're into chill hikes and old, moody fortresses with killer views, this one’s totally worth the detour.
