Ocean versus Lake????

Spent 3 days 2 nights in this beautiful town in Taupo. Still in North New Zealand. The Lake Taupo is so high that one cannot finish cover one end to the other. Lots of activities to do like taking a boat to view the giant Mine Bay Maori rock carving of Ngatoroirangi on Lake Taupo. Or take a jet boat in Huka Falls. For the challenging one , u can try Bungy jump from the cliff. Accommodation- suggest to stay in Millennium Hotel which is very near to the lake. A bit dated though but house a good restaurant. Of course there are many other hotels and apartments by the lake which cost at least NZD 140++ per night.they are near to city centre where there are abundance choices of restaurants and food. Cheaper food options will be KFC, McDonald and Burger King at the roundabout and near the lake as well. Woolworth for groceries are 1.3km if u can walk like me under the cool weather. Else Uber will wipe u off NZD20-$22 which I can buy myself a meal.
