Mont Saint-Michel, the Archangel Michael's Abbey

If you're visiting Paris, France, you should definitely explore the outskirts as well. One of the most popular destinations among Koreans is Mont Saint-Michel in the Normandy region. It's not easy to visit on your own, so many people opt for guided tours. I also visited Mont Saint-Michel through a tour program, and on my second visit, I traveled there using FlixBus. Mont Saint-Michel is an abbey that has stood for over 1,000 years. It was gradually built on a rocky island, creating the Mont Saint-Michel we see today. Isn't it fascinating that they constructed the abbey by floating stones over the sea during high tide? The Normandy region, being by the sea, has very unpredictable weather. Fortunately, the day I visited was clear, allowing me to enjoy both the night view and the beautiful scenery. But don't be disappointed if it's cloudy. As long as it doesn't rain, consider yourself lucky with the weather! Since it rains frequently in Normandy, make sure to bring an umbrella. Even if the weather forecast predicts clear skies, it often rains. Mont Saint-Michel is a church dedicated to the Archangel Michael. As a result, the statue at the very top of the abbey is of Archangel Michael. The souvenir shops sell Archangel Michael keychains, and I always make it a point to buy a few as gifts whenever I visit. I highly recommend checking them out and considering a purchase. Mont Saint-Michel is one of my personal favorite travel destinations, and I strongly encourage you to visit as well. It has been a bucket list destination for me, and it remains a truly unforgettable experience.
