Overnight in Chengdu. DAY 2: Into the World of Light and Shadow Travel from Chengdu, stopping at Tianquan Service Area, cross the 4,298m Zheduo Mountain Pass, and enjoy a distant view of Yala Snow Mountain from Gulong Village. Overnight in Xinduqiao. DAY 3: Cultural Depths of a Grassland City Journey from Xinduqiao to Litang (elevation 4,000m), visit Changqingchunke'er Monastery, Sister Lakes, and Cuopu Valley. Overnight in Batang. DAY 4: Glaciers and Hidden Wonders From Batang, cross the Laozhelongba Pass (elevation 4,700m, offering views of Genie and Xiaozha Sacred Mountains), pass through the Reti Valley and the "Cannonball Pits," and arrive at Hangda Camp (elevation 3,800m, one of the best spots to view the golden sunrise on the southern slope of Genie Sacred Mountain).
