London | Tasty hotpot with raw dishes near UCL

I used to think Ning Ji’s hotpot base was the highlight, but this time I was pleasantly surprised by their marinated raw dishes too. It’s said to be the first Chaozhou-style marinated raw seafood spot in London, and the selection is super complete — if you love this kind of dish, definitely try the marinated seafood platter! Marinated raw oysters: Served in small individual plates, not fishy at all — combined with chili peppers, they were absolutely delicious! Marinated salmon: Sliced to the perfect thickness, tender and smooth — a treat for raw food lovers! We also ordered hotpot with a satay + beef bone broth base. The beef chuck and tenderloin were high quality and cooked quickly. The bone broth was rich and flavorful — perfect meat deserves perfect soup. The soup base came with corn and beef meatballs, which were juicy and satisfying! Seafood platter: Beautifully presented with a wide variety of seafood. The bone broth infused everything with a delicious umami flavor. Marinated platter: I loved this last time, and it was just as good — the sauce is rich and deeply flavorful.
